Aware of the fact that employees should be the ones to make a difference in corporations, selection and placement process is based on the strategies formed. During recruitments, different procedures are applied to find the most suitable candidate for a given position in the most efficient way.
Within this framework the methods used include personality and general skill tests, foreign language tests, competency based interviews and Assessment Center practices.
Internship at DEVA
During summer, university students who are required to complete a compulsory internship and during winter Vocational High School students are offered training opportunities in an environment allowing them to implement their theoretical knowledge in practice and helping them prepare for jobs in business.
Intern candidates are selected among incoming applications and invited to take part in group interviews. Eligible ones are offered the opportunity to have their internships at the DEVA Holding Head Office and manufacturing facilities by taking into consideration the departments they wish to work in.

We attach importance to discovering the potential of young talents and bringing them to our DEVA family. By recruiting new graduates, we enable them to start their careers faster and stronger.
Internal resources are given priority in promotions and internal candidates are offered the means to get promoted to suitable positions through Assessment Center practices consisting of Role Play, Case Study and Structured Interview Techniques.
In the Assessment Center practices, our internal candidates are evaluated by taking into account the competence sets that are included in our Corporate Competence Catalog and created separately on the basis of function and level.
Performance Management System
Throughout DEVA Holding, DEVA Performance Management System, which includes evaluation, career and task planning process, is applied in order to systematically determine and improve employee performance. DEVA Performance Evaluation System is a performance management system that is formed by the combination of Corporate Values and Business Goals evaluation models.
Performance Management System is the reduction of company targets to employees, determination of individual targets of employees in line with company targets, monitoring of their performances, evaluation, determination of development needs and all of the processes carried out in the career planning process.
Training and Development
DEVA Holding perceives training and development activities as an important investment in people via the vision of supporting the change and willingness to go ahead. Regarding employees’ jobs, to increase their professional knowledge and skills, training investments are made within the framework of training needs and annual training plans.
To ensure that all employees work more efficiently and develop constantly in accordance with strategic goals, training development activities consist of three steps; identifying the training needs, programming the training activities accordingly and finally implementing them in a timeline.
The purpose of all planned trainings is to satisfy the specific business needs and get on the job outcomes that are measurable, observable and also adding to the current performance.
In DEVA, in order to increase the effect of training and development activities on business results and performance, training contents are designed via solutions tailored to differing needs. In this way, a dynamic process is carried out in which individual and organizational process are both supported.
Current approaches and practices are integrated, differentiations in learning are considered and a variety of training methodologies are used.
Trainings are carried out by in-house trainers who are experts in their areas and also with professional training companies both in Turkey and abroad.
Integrated with new technologies, training activities are supported with online training methods such as virtual classes and e-learnings.
